The Mission The Boonsters Club is committed to providing an enriched educational environment for the students of Boon Elementary, through the generous financial Support and sponsorships of community partners, businesses and families. The Need As a new elementary school, the parents and friends of Boon Elementary School need to go the extra mile to provide our children with the best possible educational resources available. The Books        Established AISD elementary school libraries have about 10,000 titles. At the start of the school year Boon Elementary will have 5,000 titles, many of which are resource materials (such as encyclopedias). The Guided Readers Leveled reading resources (grade appropriate books) are utilized in every classroom by our teachers. These books are used for class reading groups and take home assignments. Every child starting in kindergarten will use these books to develop a love for reading. The Specials Music, Art, and Physical Education, better known as 'Specials' re beginning the year with limited tools; sporting gear, art supplies, and musical instruments to further enrich our children's educational experience. These programs help develop well rounded kids! The Tools Teachers and students need learning tools: math manipulatives, science materials, novel sets for classroom use. The Fun Playground equipment and recess materials.
